CUSAG started as a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) in 2005 by the two current owners and a Northeastern Credit Union.

A few years into the CUSO’s operation the credit union partner decided to change charter from a Federal Charter to a State Charter. The State charter did not provide an accommodation for a CUSO partially owned by non-credit union owners. Today CUSAG is fully owned by two of the original founders and has grown significantly from its start in 2005. CUSAG now assists credit unions and community banks across the nation with an array of services. Our team consists of former commercial bank executives, credit union executives and former regulators who understand the importance of helping community financial institutions.
